Now let's talk about how to use Canva. 

It's as simple as signing up for a free account, exploring the template library, and customizing them to fit your brand. Whether you're creating carousels or reels, Canva has got you covered. 

What is Canva?

Canva is an online editing tool available in a free version, premium and enterprise version. I 100% recommend the premium version.

• Free version: 8,000+ free templates, 100+ design types (social media posts, presentations, letters, and more). Hundreds of thousands of free photos and graphics.
• Premium version: Create your brand’s visual identity with logos, colors and fonts in 1 brand kit, one-click design resize, 60,000+ free templates, 4+ million free photos and graphics, upload your own fonts and logos and custom templates.

Step 1: Set up your free account

All you need to do is sign in with an e-mail and set up your account. After you log in just type in “logo” or any other marketing asset that you want and you will automatically see some template sizes to choose from.



You can choose the standard size, or select a logo template size according to some of the templates already available from different industries.

Step 2: Select a design template

You will be prompted into a blank page once you select your design size, and now you can select from thousands of design templates available in the left-hand part of their dashboard. If you want to start from scratch you can also do that and manually add text, elements, images, etc.

Step 3: Modify the template into your preferred fonts and brand colors

This is one of our favorite steps because it’s time to get creative with your design. You can choose from many fun fonts and incorporate your brand colors into your new custom design.

Step 4: Add images or elements to your design

Canva has a lot of integrations to free stock images that you can use without going against copyright laws. You can also upload your own images if you need to and you can play around with icons and elements.

The variety in stock images, fonts, and elements vary within the free plans and the paid plans, but you can manage to stick with the free plan for a while if you don’t really need complex designs.

Step 5: Download your design

That’s it! It’s that easy. You really don’t need to be a professional designer to create a professional-looking logo for free online. You can download your new logo in different formats: .jpg, .png, .pdf, .gif, etc.

If you need to download your logo with a transparent background, you need to upgrade to their paid version.

Tip: If you don’t want your image to download in slightly lower quality, present your design in full screen and take a screenshot with your computer. This will enhance the picture and save it in its largest version so that when you resize it doesn’t look blurry.

How should I structure my social media posts to get clients?

For carousels, start with a catchy hook to grab your audience's attention, then divide your content into engaging topics, and don't forget to include a strong call-to-action. 

Reels follow a similar structure, but you can also utilize a captivating cover image to entice viewers.
